Get to know Enoch

Here are a few questions that might help you understand a little bit of me.

Why were you given your particular name?
I’m named after Enoch, a little known prophet in the Old Testament. You can find a few verses in Genesis. He lived between the time of Adam and Noah.

How many brothers and sisters do you have?
Six brothers and six sisters

What is your favorite thing to do?
Besides reading? Biking and hiking.

What is your favorite comfort food?
Mashed Potatoes

What are your favorite books?
Just finished Enders Game for the 2nd time.
East of Eden
The Sun Also Rises
And, of course, The Kite Runner.

What is your favorite candy bar?
Almond Joy

What is your favorite cookie?
Monster cookies

What is your favorite sport?
Tennis

What is your favorite kind of music?
Rock, Alt Rock, Good Jazz, Blues, Classical … anything with the Cello.

How many kids do you want when you get married?
We’ve agreed on three.

What is your favorite thing about your mom?
Her spunk.

What is your favorite thing about your dad?
His humor which usually gets him in trouble with mom.

What is your favorite thing about yourself?
My feet. :-)

Do you like to sing?

Yes, Emily and I sing in the church choir. She is worlds better that I am.

Do you like to dance?
Not seriously. I’ve never been a very confident dancer.

What musical instruments can you play?

Guitar, Brass

What is your favorite type of art?
Music. I like art that you can feel.

Have you ever seen a broadway musical? Do you like theater?
Not a big fan, but I’ll go with Emily.

Do you like building things?
Yup … I really like to know how things work.

What would you like to learn about cars?
How to tweak your car by changing the chip settings.

What are three adjectives which describe you?
Quiet, Thoughtful and Funny.

How would your friend describe you to someone who has never seen you?
He’s a short, stocky fellow. He’s funny, looking that is. Ah hahahhaha.
Likes to read and ride bikes. Oh, did you know there are 13 kids in his family?

In five years, what kind of person will you be?
Better, hopefully. And a kinder and more loving husband and father.

When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do?
Read.

What is the strangest thing you ever did?
Took a 4000 mile bicycle tour around the Western United States. Personally I don’t think it strange but I get the feeling when I tell people about it that they are thinking to themselves, “Why didn’t you just drive?”. You can view an old blog of my bike trip by visiting ebullient.blogspot.com
